In honor of Amadou Diallo , the Amadou Diallo Foundation is pleased to announce the creation of the Amadou Diallo Scholarships Program established at the BMCC and the BCC.

As the mother of Amadou Diallo, I thank the Presidents
of both colleges, Dr. Antonio Perez, President of the Manhattan Community College, and Dr. Carolyn G. Williams, President of the Bronx Community College, for giving us the opportunity to work with The Amadou Diallo Foundation Inc, for many years to come.

I am also announcing that I have made a gift of $23,000 to the Amadou Diallo Inc. as a challenge grant representing the 23 years my son lived and I am committed to match dollar for each dollar up to the same amount contributed to advance the educational goal of the foundation for the next four years, including the Amadou Diallo Scholarships Program at the BMCC and BCC.

As this is a day of remembrance of my son, my children, myself and the family thank everyone for their support and prayers.
