An international student from Nigeria, his intent is to pursue a Bachelors in Biology after graduating from BCC, and then go to medical school, to specialize in Pediatrics and ultimately in community medicine. His ultimate dream, he wrote, is to acquire a professional degree in medicine in order to help alleviate the pains of the sick and suffering Nigerians and Africans back home and the entire world. Mr. Omotoso not only was awarded the Diallo Scholarship, but received recognition as one of BCC Foundations ten Outstanding Students of the Year. His grade point average is a perfect 4.0. Koffi K. Kuwonu, originally from Togo, is pursuing an A.S. degree in Business Administration, and currently holds a 3.97 cumulative GPA. He plans to pursue a career in Finance and intends to establish a financial institution that would provide funds to subsidize businesses both in Africa and the United States. His dream is to use revenues from this financial institution to create a scholarship program for African/African American students who create ideas on how to expand distribution of necessities such as food, water, clothing and electricity, to African communities.
